The Board of Directors of Peoples State Bank of Wyalusing has announced that Articles of Amendment have been fi led with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking to amend the Articles of Incorporation and change the name of the Bank.
Upon approval, the name of the Bank will be shortened to PS Bank later this year with the holding company name remaining Peoples LTD. The Bank’s new look and name does not indicate any change in the Bank’s ownership or management. The Bank’s employees will continue to offer the same customer and community focus from established branch locations.
Established in 1914, the Bank operated a single banking location for nearly 80 years in the community for which it was named before opening a second location in Wysox. In the years that have followed, expansion throughout Bradford, Sullivan and Wyoming counties have evidenced the Bank’s continued commitment as a community bank.
Bank President and CEO, Anthony J. Gabello said, “This strategic decision is a reflection of our continued commitment to our customers, employees, shareholders and the communities we serve. A new look for the Bank will provide a marketing advantage in our existing markets and brand recognition as we expand into new areas.”
