Local artist Karen Black of Dushore has been named the new Gallery Director for the Blue Heron Art Gallery, Wyalusing. Former director Brian Keeler has retired and has moved to NY state.
As the Blue Heron celebrates it’s 10th year, Karen looks forward to the challenge of balancing the shows of this region’s best poets and artists as well as showcasing more of our outstanding local artists, writers and musicians.
Using her 25 years of business and marketing background, as well as her creative talents, Mrs. Black hopes to build more community involved events and welcomes anyone who is not a member of the gallery to contact her and get involved.
